The purpose of the American Legion Baseball Program is to give young men an opportunity to develop their skills, personal fitness, leadership qualities, and to have fun. Additionally we want to provide the opportunity for youth attending or living within the Lakeland 272 School District boundaries that meet eligibility requirements, as stated by Idaho American Legion Baseball Association, to play in a competitive baseball program. Legion Baseball will stress the development of fundamental team and individual skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of the game of baseball in order to field competitive teams.
